Shoppers have praised the store for its much cheaper version of the highly popular shoes
Fans of one designer shoe have praised Primark for their similar version, which is being sold at a fraction of the price. Shoppers have applauded the high street fashion store for their latest shoe offerings, in particular its mule clogs.
Primark is selling a range of mule clogs with buckle detailing that come in various shades. At just £10, the open-back shoes come in taupe, camel, chocolate and black.
The shoes are stocked in a range of sizes from a three to an eight. Shoppers who have snapped up a pair have likened them to Birkenstock’s highly popular Boston Soft Footbed mule.
The branded shoes come in nine different colours, but are priced at £150. Birkenstock’s mules feature a soft footbed and are made from suede, natural leather and cork. They come in sizes 2.5 through to 14.5.
One TikTok user noticed the similarities in the style of the Primark shoe as she urged others to “get down” to the budget store. Romy Morris said: “If you are after the Birkenstock style clog, get yourself down to Primark.”
The social media user called the shoes “stunning” and even picked up every colour she could find in her local store. Romy added: “My brother has a pair of Birkenstocks and a pair of these. And, he’s like ‘these are just as comfy’.
“They are £10 so save yourself some buck.” Other TikTok users commented how they want to try the Primark clogs out for themselves.
One said: “STOP IT I need to get.” Another added: “I NEEDDDD!!” Someone else commented: “I have the dark brown ones! I love them!! The walk sooo soft.”

Primark aren’t the only high street store offering their own mule clogs. New Look’s Black Suedette Mules comes in six different colours and are priced at £27.99 but are currently on sale for £20.99.
Meanwhile, Marks and Spencer sells Suede Scallop Edge Strap Clogs in sand and olive for £40.
