February 14 is just around the corner and many retailers are pulling out all the stops to make the most of the occasion. Primark’s love-themed range has impressed shoppers

Primark shoppers are racing into stores to get their hands on its popular new Valentine’s Day range before it sells out – again.

February 14 is just around the corner and many retailers are pulling out all the stops to make the most of the occasion. Whether you’re coupled up, happily single, or just looking for an excuse to treat yourself, there’s an abundance of romantically themed food, clothing and accessories to choose from.

Primark is no exception, with its new range of white loungewear emblazoned with a dainty red heart print proving so popular, it keeps selling out.

Like many high street favourites, the retailer utilises social media to keep customers in the loop on what they can expect to find in its stores. Unlike its competitors, Primark doesn’t offer a traditional ecommerce website where shoppers can order online, relying mainly on in-store purchases.

While it does provide a Click and Collect service, fans still have to venture to one of its shops to get their hands on any goods. Its social media presence ensures its relevancy, with a recent video causing a flurry of excitement online.

The brand shared an Instagram Reel to its 11.1 million followers, showcasing its Valentine’s Day collection. Featured items included shorts with matching camisoles and long sleeve tops, shorts and long trousers.

Each item comes in the same colour and fabric design, allowing products to be mixed and matched, with the same heart print in red. There’s also a scalloped edge to each item, complete with red trim.

Enamoured shoppers were keen to share their thoughts in the comments section. One person confessed: “Have it all” while another said: “Fantastic PJs” and a third commented: “Super cute”.

One person bemoaned: “All sold out in Winchester”, to which Primark replied and advised: “Our stock checker can be used for all stores, to help plan your trip by checking stock levels in advance! Link in bio”.

Another fan said: “so cute” while someone else tagged a friend and said: “Primark trip asap lol” and another told their pal: “Oh my goodness how cute are these [heart eyes emoji] We need to go shopping”, and another simply said: “Stunning”.

Someone else added: “Every Primark I’ve been to, this has been sold out!! I want it all [crying emoji]”.

Primark is known and loved for its budget-friendly yet on trend clothing, accessories, homeware, childrenswear and more. First established in 1969, the Irish company has headquarters in Dublin, Ireland and boasts stores up and down the United Kingdom, Ireland and the rest of Europe, as well as stores in the United States.

It trades as Penneys, its original name, in Ireland but goes by Primark everywhere else due to American retailer JCPenney, which owns the name.
