The future of Press Healthfoods, a London-based food and drink retailer which was founded in 2013, is now in doubt after it has collapsed into administration

A popular British smoothie and wellness brand has collapsed into administration after more than a decade in business.

The future of Press Healthfoods, a London-based food and drink retailer which was founded in 2013, is now in doubt.

Press Healthfoods built up a significant social media presence during its 13 years of trading, amassing nearly 72,000 followers on Instagram, around 10,000 followers on Facebook and thousands more on TikTok.

It sells a range of healthy meal plans, soups, juices and smoothies and has products stocked in Asda, Sainsbury’s and Marks & Spencer.

According to Companies House filings, the business currently employs 25 members of staff. The company described itself online as having “a mission to bring natural and healthy nutrition to the UK”.

A statement on its website reads: “Good nutrition has the power to change every aspect of your life and drives a positive impact for our planet. It can support your immune system, give you more energy, help you manage eating habits, give you clearer skin and better digestion.”

However, after 13 years in operation, Press London Ltd has now entered administration. Companies House records show Marco Piacquadio and Rachel Elizabeth Ennis, of FTS Recovery Limited, have been appointed as administrators.
