Police have released images of the suspect, described as being white with short dark hair and aged around 45, who was seen leaving the toilets at Leeds City Bus Station dressed in a teddy bear hoodie

Police are on the hunt for a man they suspect sexually assaulted a teenage boy at a public toilet in the centre of Leeds.

The suspect, described by West Yorkshire Police as being white with short dark hair and roughly 45-years-old, was seen leaving the toilets at Leeds’ main bus station wearing a dark red Ralph Lauren hoodie with a teddy bear design on the chest.

Detectives investigating the sexual assault have released images and are calling on members of the public to contact them if they recognise him, or witnessed the attack.

Officers want to identify the man in connection with the incident – which occurred shortly before 9pm on Monday, March 3, at Leeds City Bus Station.

In a statement, West Yorkshire Police said: “The suspect was described as white, aged around 45, with short dark hair. He was wearing a red jacket with thick blue and white stripes on the lower half and a red Ralph Lauren hoody with a teddy bear design on the front. He was carrying a grey rucksack.

“Anyone who recognises the man or who witnessed the incident is asked to contact Leeds District Safeguarding Unit via 101 quoting crime reference 13250122450 or online via www.westyorkshire.police.uk/livechat.”
