Shoppers are raving over the pressure washers value for money
Amazon shoppers are raving over an ‘excellent value’ pressure washer that’s the ‘best option’ for household use. The Kärcher K 2 Power Control Home pressure washer would normally cost £149.99 but is currently £115 on the shopping giant.
There are two options to purchase, with out without the home kit for £15 extra. The home kit includes the ‘Patio & Deck’ detergent and the T1 surface cleaner which can be used to clean patios and garden paths.
The maximum 110 bar pressure can be used to clean bicycles, garden tools and garden furniture. If you’re after a higher pressure then Bosch has a High Pressure Washer that goes up to 135 bar pressure. Over on Screwfix there’s an 150 bar pressure washer from Titan for £139.99 tha tis also popular.

The Karcher pressure washer has pulled in an average rating of 4.6 out of 5 from over 8,600 global ratings. One shopper said: “For the price, I think this is excellent value. Although the construction is all plastic, it’s quite robust and as long as you don’t chuck it around it should be fine with normal use. The patio cleaner’s shroud is made of flimsier plastic, so it feels like I need to be a little bit more careful about storing that.
“You need to add the wheels and handles to the unit when you unbox it, but everything just clicks into place and I was ready to wash in just a few minutes. The unit is lightweight – you really don’t need wheels to move it – the accessories work very well (particularly the patio cleaner) and it’s not too noisy in use. As long as you don’t regularly need to clean huge quantities of mud off tractors or blast back surfaces to bare metal or something I think this unit is perfect for most households.”
A second penned: “Brilliant jet wash with power to strip everything back to it original colour and form. Different heads give different power and outcome. It’s actually so powerful and effective that’s it’s really satisfying to use. The only downside full is once they see the results, everyone will ask you to clean their drives and walkways.”
A third added: “It’s cheaper and the best option for house hold works. Pressure is more than enough for car wash or patio cleaning. Just be careful with that yellow round patio cleaner, the pressure is not adjustable, so there is a chance of patio stone or slab damage.”
A few shoppers have said that they don’t think it’s the most powerful option but it can work quite well for household purposes. One shopper wrote: “Use it to clean the car , driveway bricks, concrete, stone. Works pretty well for the price. Happy with it. But if you want something more powerful that can do the job a bit quicker, I suggest you look around for something else. This one can be a little slow but it gets there in the end.”
