People have been urged to ‘run’ to Primark thanks to their range of Jellycat dupes – you can save huge amounts compared to the real deal, and they’re still super cute
Jellycat teddies have risen in popularity in recent years, and while some may have been collecting them for ages, others will be new to the world of adorable plushies.
There’s one thing everyone can agree on, however, and they’re rather expensive, and therefore won’t be in everybody’s budget. While you can nab a little one for around £14, the prices creep up and up until you’re suddenly justifying a giant ‘bashful bunny’ for an eye-watering £225.
But that’s where budget retailer Primark has stepped in. If you’re not fussed about bagging yourself the real deal, Primark has got some dupes for a fraction of the price – and they’re seriously cuddly.
Online content creator @orlakirkland took to TikTok to show off some of the range, which includes a large smiling plant pot complete with flowers for just £7. Compare this to the real Jellycat version, which would set you back around £52, depending on the retailer you purchased it from, and it’s a real steal.
Orla also showed off an adorable egg, a piece of toast, and a mushroom. @kellydoolan_ also recommended that people “Run to Primark/Penneys for the Jellycat dupes”.
Kelly showed off an adorable strawberry, a coffee cup, a football, a bear dressed up as a frog, popcorn, a sloth holding a bubble tea drink, and a strawberry milk carton.
There were also keyrings available. There was the strawberry milk carton, cherries, a coffee cup, and a bubble tea shown in her video. The keyrings retail at Primark for £3, compared to Jellycat’s £25, so you can save yourself a whopping £22 – or just justify buying the whole collection for yourself.
There are plenty more plushies to choose from in-store too, including a rainbow birthday cake for just £7, and a smaller turtle plush for £4.
