Oodie has released a collection of puffer jackets, and writer Emily put it to the test on a stormy day out
Oodie is most known for its cosy loungewear, but this year the brand released puffer jackets ahead of the winter season. Shoppers can purchase the outerwear on the website, with a range of colours to choose from, including black, blue, burgundy and a striking leopard/black print.

On the price point, Emily continues: “The Leopard Print/Black is priced at £119, which might seem a bit pricey, but I genuinely think this coat is a worthwhile investment that will last for years. When I wore it for our day at the zoo, I was astounded by how warm and comfy it was.
“At certain times of the day, I found myself feeling overly warm and had to remove the coat. Despite the weather being somewhat mild at moments, it was undeniably wet, which made me appreciate the Oodie coat’s waterproof fabric.”
Oodie’s puffer coats have a thick 200gsm fill for warmth, which Emily says felt like being ‘wrapped in a duvet’. She describes the jacket as oversized, with a large hood that helped keep her hair dry during the heavy downpours.
