The Oodie Original Pants have been designed to keep you warm and comfortable at home during the colder months, and are available in five different designs

Oodie, known for its wearable hoodie blankets, has launched cosy trousers just in time for the colder weather. The Oodie Original Pants are proving to be as popular as their hoodies, perfect for binge-watching TV or working from home.

Priced at £45 and available in sizes S to 3XL, customers can choose from four colours – grey, black, pink and navy, plus a printed style featuring avocado and toast characters. Customers describe them as ‘soft, warm and cuddly’, and say they’re ‘great for keeping heating bills down’ due to the Sherpa fleece lining and soft outer layer.

The trousers are machine washable, making them easy to clean. They also feature a drawcord waist, allowing them to be worn low or high-waisted, and the elasticated waistband ensures a comfortable fit.

Although the product has only recently hit the market and hasn’t garnered a vast amount of feedback, the initial reviews from customers are positive. One satisfied customer commented: “I live in a 200yr cottage in the Highlands next to the North Sea so I’d like to think I’m an expert when it comes to warm and comfy.

“These are so warm and snuggly. Paired with my old reliable Oodie, I can be quite comfortable working from home with no heating on. For context, I’m 5ft9 and a size 16. I bought the L/XL and they’re more than big enough, easily reach the ankle, and sit comfortably around my waist with plenty of give.”

Another happy shopper expressed their contentment, saying: “As stated in the title perfect for the winter and very comfortable would highly recommend to anyone looking to keep warm and the heating bills down. P.S. I’m 6ft 6in and the 2XL/3XL are even a bit baggy on me so great for tall people”, reports Yorkshire Live.

Additionally, a third customer shared their satisfaction: “Bought the bottoms to go with tops very comfortable and warm.” However, not everyone is a fan of the design feature of elasticated ankles. Voicing their opinion on the brand’s Instagram page, one individual remarked: “Please make trousers without the elastic ankles, some of us have issues with close fitting items making us claustrophobic’.”

Over on the Oodie website, the original hoodies have seen a price drop of £26. This limited-time offer brings them down to just £39 in a variety of designs. Dunelm also offers snug clothing to keep you toasty this winter – their Teddy Oversized Blanket Hoodie is priced at £16 and has been rated 4.8 out of five by over 1,000 shoppers.
