Much-loved beauty brand Nyx has just launched a limited edition Bridgerton makeup range, and shoppers say they ‘could not resist’

Those who have been dreaming of stepping into the world of Bridgerton and channelling their Regency era glamour are now in luck, as much-loved beauty brand NYX has just launched a limited-edition Bridgerton makeup range. From blush to lip gloss, highlighter to eyeliner, there’s plenty in the range to create a look for a Bridgerton-inspired Halloween costume or a beautiful party outfit – and all products are vegan and cruelty-free.

For example, those who love a rosy cheek could try the Bridgerton Royal Blush Palette for £15.99 that comes in various aptly named shade sets: Wallflower, Lady in Silver and The Queen. Each palette features two shades that are said to ‘melt seamlessly into skin.’

There’s also the Bridgerton Royal Butter Gloss for £7.49, a buttery, non-stick lip gloss that adds colour and shine. It comes in two shades: Angel Food Cake which is a lavender mauve colour, and Praline, a pinky brown.

Next up is the Bridgerton Royal Highlight for £9.99, which comes in shades Iridescent Peach and Light Gold. It’s said to glide on skin for a ‘silky-smooth, blendable application’ that delivers a luminous and buildable glow, according to the brand. Although some people have experiences with highlighters being clumpy, due to its lightweight and non-greasy formula, this one can be worn for up to 12 hours and is said to be ‘non-cakey.’

Lastly, there’s the Bridgerton Royal Epic Ink Liner Glitz for £9.99 which comes in the shades Glitzed in Silver and Glitzed in Gold and can be worn for up to 24 hours, is waterproof and has an added element of sparkle. It’s perfect for layering over eyeshadow looks or for use on its own for a subtle eyelid shine.

The Bridgerton Royal Blush Palette is available from NYX

The palette comes in shades: wallflower, lady in silver and the queen, each of which feature two shades that are said to ‘melt seamlessly into skin.’

There are also other brands that have beautiful make up palettes in their ranges. For example, Sephora has the Cheek Clapper 3D Blush Trio Palette Attention Seeker available for £38 which comes with three blush styles: Flex Cream to underpaint and overpaint, Full Impact Matte to blur and build intensity, and Hyper Sheen for ‘an eye-catching glow and seamless finish.’

Boots also has its Revolution Ultra Blush Palette Sugar & Spice available for £7.99, which comes with eight different blush shades, and shoppers have rated it a high 4.2 out of 5 star rating on the website. Its wide array of shades makes it perfect for those who like to experiment with different makeup looks.

However, the Bridgerton collection has been rated highly by shoppers. For example, the Blush palette has a 5 star rating, as one person said: “Love how the colours look. I bought all three to try them out after buying a previous blush that I fell in love with. Each one is a different colour of shade variety from a pink rose to a red rose. I plan to buy some more for my girls soon.”

Another wrote: “Omg I love this one. I usually find options of high end blushes and believed that drugstore doesn’t last long. But seriously, this one – wow. It lasts long, looks luxurious and has a very subtle shine with pigmented blend-able blush that looks good even on my texture skin.”

Some did have slight concerns, as one said: “This blush duo in Lady in Silver is beautiful. Just received it and swatched. The colours feel buttery and soft to the touch. I’m not into Bridgerton but could not resist.

“The packaging is cardboard, thought it was metal but doesn’t matter. It’s still pretty enough to display. The swatches were somewhat hard to remove so hope this translates to face and be long lasting.”

However, most people were pleased, including one who said of NYX: “It’s my favourite makeup brand.”
