Chaos erupted once again in Northern Ireland on Thursday evening – with reports of petrol bombs and rocks hurled at police and bins set ablaze.
A heavy PSNI presence was deployed as unrest erupted in Portadown. It follows three consecutive days of violent clashes with riot police following an anti-immigration protest sparked by an alleged sexual assault on a teenager in Ballymena.
On Wednesday, a Leisure Centre in Larne was set on fire and had its windows smashed through. There was also more chaos in Ballymena.
