The bestselling bottle is usually £30 but fitness fans have spotted a way to get it for a fraction of the normal price

Whether you’ve started the new year keen to up your exercise game or your resolution is just to stay more hydrated, drinking water is a key part of staying healthy. Carrying a bottle of water while on the go is a great way to keep up the habit but, as many of us know, bottles can either be cumbersome or prone to leaking in bags.

Shoppers keen to find the ultimate leak-proof option have been turning to one of foodie brand Ninja’s latest launches and, thanks to a new deal, it’s available at its lowest ever price. Ninja’s reputation for high quality kitchenware includes everything from top-rated airfryers to high-tech ice cream makers, but they have also branched out to help consumers on the move with big launches on travel mugs and drink bottles in recent months.

The Ninja Thirsti works with hot and cold drinks and comes in two sizes – 530ml and 700ml and a range of chic colours including classic white, grey and black as well as brighter blue and mint hues. The bottles usually sell for £29.99 for the smaller version and £34.99 for the bigger one although Ninja has reduced them to £19.99 and £24.99 with free postage and packing respectively as part of their huge January sale.

However, savvy shoppers have spotted a way to get even more off the prices using a money saving site, taking the price of the bottles down to £3.66 for the small bottle or £8.32 for the bigger one. Bargain hunters can make the savings through deals site TopCashback which offers a free £15 bonus to anyone signing up as a new member with their site as well as a percentage of cashback on purchases from thousands of online retailers, taking the eventual price paid down to a fraction of the usual cost.

Shoppers can get 50% off Ninja gadget that ‘saves hours in the kitchen’

The Ninja Thirsti has become a bestseller for the brand since its launch late last year, with shoppers snapping up the bottle in their thousands. It currently has an average rating of 4.6 stars out of 5 from more than 270 reviews on the Ninja website, with 92% of shoppers recommending it.

The BPA-free travel bottle has won fans for being able to keep drinks cold for up to 24 hours and warm for up to eight thanks to a triple layer of Thermo insulation around the stainless steel inside. Meanwhile, the smooth interior also ensures any fizzy drinks stay carbonated.

Shoppers have praised its leak-proof lid which makes it ideal for on the go as well as the stylish design and the fact it can be easily cleaned in the dishwasher. One happy customer said: “I love this bottle so much I’ve brought them for family. Does exactly as it says – keeps fizzy fizzy, hot hot and cold cold. It’s perfect for the gym, child’s football sidelines, work and car journeys.”

A second shopper added: “Love the beautiful green colour as it totally matches my kitchen. Leakproof and easy opening to drink from. Keeps my water cool all day at work and handle is good feature. Looks stylish, does the job well and fits in the cup holder in the car too.”

A third added: “Worth every penny, extremely well made. I use this every single day. I also have a smaller one that I take out with me. Dishwasher proof which makes it really stand far apart from other brands. I really like the carry handle and the sturdiness of it. I have considered buying another one to keep at work.”

One shopper loved them so much she bought six, explaining: “I bought six of these in various colours as Christmas gifts. Everyone loved them. The highlights for me were they looked good, well made and were dishwasher safe so very easy to keep clean which is very important.”

However, not everyone was convinced. One shopper said: “Looks good but not for our needs. Bought this really as a large travel mug but I can’t see this being used for more than a cold drinks carrier. The lid is sturdy and tight and won’t leak which is great. Unfortunately the lid also makes this not good for the car as a travel mug as you want be able to ride and drink.”

Another more critical review warned to ensure the lid was on properly, explaining: “My bottle arrived very quickly after ordering. I’ve had one or two leaks, but that was due to not tightening the top part properly so it’s worth double-checking each time whilst getting used to the design. The colour was described as white, but it appears more grey – apart from that it’s great. The handle comes in handy, and drinks stay hot / cold for hours.”

For many a water bottle is as much a status symbol and fashion item as it is a functional practical option. As such, Stanley remains a firm favourite with celebs and fitness fans alike. The brand’s iconic Quencher comes in a range of colours and costs £45. Elsewhere, Chillys is renowned for cheerily designed patterns in a range of sizes from £22. Meanwhile, every Ocean Bottle bought by shoppers sees the brand funding the collection and recycling of 1,000 plastic bottles equating to 11.4kg of plastic waste.

Shoppers keen to snag either a Ninja Thirsti bottle or SipPerfect travel mug can do so up to 33% off in the brand’s January sale. Alternatively see below for how to use the TopCashback deal to save even more.
