The best-selling Ninja Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer now has £70 off but we’re not sure how long the discount will be around so you’ll need to be quick to get your hands on it

Ninja, the brand famed for its air fryer range and glowing online reviews (though it does offer a variety of other appliances), has one of its best-selling air fryers, the Foodi Max Dual Zone Air Fryer, on sale at a reduced price. The Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer, in a sleek white colourway, has seen its price slashed from £249.99 to a more affordable £179.99.

However, like most good deals, we can’t say for sure how long this discount will last. This same discount is also available elsewhere, with the grey Ninja Foodi Max marked down to £179.99 on Amazon and the same white model also available at Currys for £179.99.

While these cooking devices are unlikely to replace your oven entirely, they can be used to cook full meals or simply as an extension of the oven when you’re entertaining or need to feed a larger crowd. Ninja asserts that it could help save up to 65% on your oven energy bill – a welcome relief given the recent price cap announcement. However, the amount of money you can save will depend on how frequently you use your oven and what you typically cook.

In a test, Ninja compared the cooking time of the Ninja Foodi MAX air fryer and a conventional fan oven, discovering that it was 65% cheaper to cook sausages in the air fryer. Similarly, when testing the cooking of fish fingers and sausages in both a fan oven and an air fryer, they found that the cooking time was up to 75% faster with the air fryer.

However, whether this resulted in lower energy bills remained uncertain. Nevertheless, the rapid cooking times alone have persuaded some households to use the air fryer more frequently than their oven.

Indeed, air fryers have become so popular in recent years that many supermarkets now include air fryer cooking instructions on food packaging. The white version of the Foodi Max is a new addition to Ninja’s range and could be a great choice if you’re tired of the usual grey and black appliances.

Although I don’t own a Ninja, I do have an air fryer and can vouch for its usefulness in my daily life. I particularly enjoy using it to cook meat like chicken thighs, which become crispy without drying out, as well as chips and wedges.

Typically, the air fryer is much quicker to use, and it prevents leftovers from becoming soggy. My air fryer is smaller and only has one compartment, so the dual-drawer design of the Ninja Foodi MAX Dual Zone Air Fryer would be beneficial.

For those with limited kitchen counter space, the Ninja Double Stack XL Air Fryer is a godsend. It offers the advantage of separate drawers without taking up too much room.

Despite its slim design, it still boasts the same cooking capacity as the original dual-drawer air fryer, and the included deal racks further divide the space. While not the priciest in Ninja’s range, this air fryer is an investment. However, it’s currently on sale at Amazon, down from £269.99 to £219.99, giving you a saving of £50, reports the Express.
