This Morning presenter Alison Hammond looked “beautiful” in a chic navy top on Friday’s show, with fans racing to find out where to buy the high street find

Alison Hammond left This Morning viewers desperate to discover where to purchase one of her latest outfits. The 51-year-old looked ‘beautiful’ in a stylish navy top on Friday’s programme, with fans rushing to snap up the high street discovery.

Presenting alongside Dermot O’Leary, the Birmingham-born host wore a contrast tipped long sleeve shirt paired with navy trousers. The look caught the eye of audiences, who remarked on Alison’s Instagram post: “Anyone know where the blue co-ord is from with the white piping?”

Another who had already tracked down the outfit commented: “Beautiful! I have that lovely top on its way from Next. Just stunning.”

Indeed, Alison’s wardrobe essential is the Navy Tipped Long Sleeve Polo Button Through Top, which retails at £32. It boasts long sleeves and button fastening, finished with white trims to enhance the understated design, reports Birmingham Live.

The top is available in sizes 6-26 in regular and petite, accommodating a broad spectrum of body shapes, with numerous shoppers saying it delivers a ‘great fit’. One customer said of the top: “Bought this as a part of a co-ord beautiful material. Gorgeous shape and really versatile – can be worn dressy or casual.”

This button through polo is a stunning piece. It features long sleeves and button fastening. You can wear this top with the matching trousers for a gorgeous outfit.

Another added: “Love this shirt, great fit, looks good with jeans or smart trousers.” Alison teamed the top with some simple navy trousers.

While we’ve been unable to identify her precise pair, one we’re confident will coordinate are Next’s matching Navy Tipped Wide Leg Trousers for £30. These are available in three lengths – petite, regular and tall – with 11 sizes on offer.

Multiple customers who purchased the top also bought the coordinating bottoms and report they’re ideal for the airport or lengthy car trips. One commented: “I bought the top and trousers. They fit perfectly. Good quality fabric which hangs well. I can wear it dressed up with courts or more casually with pumps. I’m very happy with it.”

However, one customer did observe that they run slightly larger, noting: “Lovely top bought with matching trousers. Wanted something to travel in and this fits the bill. I’m usually a size 10 top but had to get size 8.”

We appreciate how the contrasting piping brings a fun element to the shirt. For something comparable, Marks and Spencer offers this Modal Rich Piped Detail Collared Shirt for £38.

It’s predominantly black with camel-toned contrast features that deliver a subtle yet truly sophisticated look.

Even more striking is this Karen Millen Colour Block Twill Woven Shirt for £85. Created with long sleeves that are tailored at the wrist and a button-down closure, it functions equally well for post-work cocktails as it does the workplace.

It wasn’t just Alison’s ensembles capturing attention this week, though. During Monday’s programme, the presenter’s makeup became the main talking point as she impressed audiences with blue mascara.

Her makeup artist, Mikey Phillips, disclosed it to be the Fenty Beauty Hella Thicc Volumizing Mascara in blue for £21. However, if it’s Alison’s cosy navy button-down you’re hoping to snap up for your wardrobe, it’s currently available for £32 on the Next website here.
