Prince William has been seen for the first time in an upcoming ITV documentary focusing on his Homewards initiative, with the Prince of Wales aiming to end homelessness in the UK

A new picture of Prince William has released as he looks to continue the fight to end homelessness.
The Royal Family alumni was seen in a newly released image which is taken from a two-part documentary series taking a look behind the scenes at the first year of Homewards’ activities. Prince William and The Royal Foundation set up the resource centre in the hope of ending homelessness through local programming.
The Prince of Wales has been firm in his fight against homelessness and is using Homewards as a platform to bring further insight into how members of the public can help. This latest image comes from the two-part ITV documentary on the Prince’s first year with Homewards.
He previously said of the charity: “Homewards aims to give people across the UK hope that homelessness can be prevented by showing them the progress we can make when we collaborate.” It’s a big task, but I firmly believe that by working together it is possible to make homelessness rare, brief and unrepeated, and I am very much looking forward to working with our six locations to make our ambition a reality.” The Prince of Wales’ ambitious project saw him visit Sheffield earlier this year as a tour of one of six locations for the Homewards initiative.
He said: “At Homebase, we know how important it is to have a place to call home, and we’re committed to co-producing home starter packs with the people who will be using them. Over the next five years, we’ll help end the cycle of homelessness by supporting a fresh start with a fresh lick of paint, and all their home needs.”
The Prince of Wales also sat with local landlords in gauging their support fore ending homelessness in the city, with representatives for Keystone Property Group, Places for People, Letzmove, My Landlord Cares and Arches Housing pledging more than 30 three and four-bedroom homes to help families.
