Shoppers can keep their homes and cars clean and stain-free using the new gadget that comes out this Sunday
Lidl shoppers will soon be able to get their hands on a new portable gadget that the supermarket says cleans homes and cars “in next to no time”. The budget store is updating its range of Middle Aisle items this Sunday, July 26, and its latest collection will include several new cleaning devices.
The Silvercrest Spot Cleaner is one of the items landing in stores this weekend. It will be available to shoppers with Lidl Plus for £34.99, thanks to a £5 discount. For customers who are not Lidl Plus members, it will be full price at £39.99.
A spot cleaner is a lightweight, portable wet-vacuum that sprays water and cleaning solutions onto soft surfaces, scrubs the area, and removes the dirty liquid. It is designed to quickly deal with small spills, remove tough stains, and freshen fabrics before they set in your items.
Lidl says its new handheld gadget cleans fabric surfaces in “next to no time”, making it suitable for use on textiles, upholstery, carpets, car seats, and more. It comes with a built-in battery for “easy cleaning and portability”.
There is a spray function and two different brush attachments for “optimum cleaning results”. Buyers can choose between using a rotating roller brush, which Lidl says works on “particularly stubborn stains”. Or, a flat brush, which the supermarket says is ideal for “light staining”.
There are two power settings and an LED light “to make stains more visible”. Shoppers can power up the “powerful” built-in Li-Ion battery (11.1V/2,200mAh) using the USB charging cable included in the box.
The Spot Cleaners’ clean water tank capacity is 170ml, and its dirty water tank maximum capacity is 250ml. Lidl says charging usually takes between four and five hours to fully charge the battery.
Once charged, users have at least 25 minutes at power setting one. The cleaner also comes with a three-year warranty.
Another item launching in Lidl’s next round of Middle Aisle offers this Sunday is the Beldray Compact Spotbuster for £49.99. The Beldray Compact Spotbuster can spray, scrub, and vacuum up common spills and stains.
Beldray says it is perfect for cleaning carpets, rugs, furniture, stairs, and car interiors, effortlessly removing pet messes, muddy paw prints, and drink stains. Lidl says: “This spot cleaner from Beldray tackles everyday stains and spills.
“Multi-purpose cleaning – refreshes sofas, carpets and rugs. Removable dual tank system: separate clean and dirty water tanks so you never need to clean with dirty water again. Integrated scrub brush and upholstery nozzle – dislodges and lifts stubborn dirt for a thorough clean.”
