If you don’t know which bra to wear with your spring wedding guest dresses, we found the perfect one for larger busts that has ‘nice support’ and can be adjusted for any neckline
There’s nothing better than getting dressed up for a wedding or special occasion, but trying to find the right bra to wear with your dress or top can be a nightmare, especially if you have a large bust. A multi-way bra can be adjusted to fit any neckline, but if you’ve had no luck in the past finding one that gives you the lift or support a larger chest needs, we may have found just the thing.
Curvy Kate is known for its size-inclusive underwear, and the Superhero Multiway Padded Plunge Bra is a great option if you’ve got a tricky neckline to wear. Affordably priced at £33, it comes in both black and nude, with fully adjustable straps that can be crossed over, removed or switched up to suit any neckline.

The Superhero Multiway Padded Plunge Bra is available in sizes 32DD up to 40J, and can be altered and adjusted to suit just about any dress or top you can think of. The cups have an ultra-low ‘SuperPlunge’ shape that gives you less coverage for deep V-necklines or cut out details, but still offers enough support so you don’t feel like you’re slipping out.
The cups are foam lined and underwire to give a bit of lift and padding. The back comes with an extender that lets you lower it by one to two inches for a low back or cut out back moment, and it has a swan hook closure with an adjustable slider.
However the straps themselves are where the real customisation happens. Unlike other multi-way bras which only have one hook location on each cup, the Superhero Multiway Padded Plunge Bra has an innovative eyeletted fold over the top edge of the cup.
This lets you place the end of the strap anywhere on the cups, so you can customise it for a one shoulder, cross-over front, halterneck or just about anything else you can think of. You can also get clear straps sold separately if you want to make sure not even a glimpse of a strap is visible.
One reviewer of the Superhero Multiway Padded Plunge Bra said: “I left a review previously when I tried the nude colour version of this bra and wish to say thank you to Curvy Kate for making this bra in black so that more women can enjoy this innovative style.”
Whilst another wrote: “Pretty bra and good fit but more of a special occasion/outfit bra than an everyday bra. Nice support and plunge looks fab. I would say though that it’s quite fiddly in terms of set up (ie. where/how to attach straps, making sure I feel supported) but once it’s sorted it does look good. True to size. Slightly too uncomfortable for everyday wear.”
We have found other great options elsewhere too, like the £46 Praline Nude Lightly Lined Strapless Multiway Strapless Bra from Victoria’s Secret which has a solid five star rating. It comes in four colours including three nude shades to suit most skin tones and a black option.
Meanwhile at Boux Avenue, the Strapless Microfibre Multiway Bra is £32 in band sizes 28-40 and cup sizes from A to G. There’s also the Anna Multiway Ultralight Microfibre Balconette Bra for £49 from celeb-loved brand Intimissimi which has extra long straps for added comfort.
