The Gingham Puff Sleeve Midi Waisted Dress is available in UK sizes 6-24 and also comes in three lengths, ranging from petite through to regular and tall.
Featuring a flattering regular fit with a waisted silhouette, it also boasts short puffy sleeves that offer a little coverage to the tops of the arms while also adding a playful touch to the design.
The dress has yet to have received any reviews on M&S’ website, but at the time of writing the high street retailer said it’s been added to over 100 shopping bags in the last five days, and it’s the number four bestselling dress on the website.
Elsewhere on the high street, New Look is offering its Puff Sleeve Striped Midi Dress in a variety of colours, priced at £29.99 each.
Featuring a statement sleeve with an on-trend square neckline, it’s ideal for weekend plans and holidays.
Over at River Island, fans may wish to consider the Beige Stripe Linen Blend Shirred Midi Dress for £46.
Those who prefer prints and colours can also shop a variation of the frock in red and a black tropical leaf design (£49).
Back to M&S, and the Gingham Puff Sleeve Midi Waisted Dress boasts a pretty tie-back detailing and can be dressed up or down.
Fashion fans can wear the frock now layered with a light jacket and trainers, and ditch the outerwear and add sandals or ballet flats come summer.

It is worth noting that whilst the dress is already proving popular on M&S’ website, some may find it high maintenance to care for as it cannot be ironed or dry cleaned.
That being said, the retailer says it can be washed on a 40°C cycle and it can also be tumble dried on a medium setting too.
