Interior designer Kelly Hoppen has dropped more homeware with Marks & Spencer, including this gorgeous ceramic vase for under £20
It’s spring flower season, with vibrant tulips and daffodils widely available at their cheapest all year. And if you’re looking for a way to display your florals to make them look like expensive bouquets, Marks and Spencer has just the thing for you.
The brand has quietly just dropped several new homeware items in collaboration with interior designer Kelly Hoppen, including the Petal Ceramic Vase, £19.50. We say quietly because usually, when Kelly collaborates with M&S, it gets shouted about everywhere. But this casual drop does mean one good thing: this vase is still in stock.
Made of ceramic, it takes inspiration from porcelain ‘plissee’ (translation: pleats) vases, popular in the 1960s. The vintage design feels very modern though, considering how many brands and designers are using this pleated clay effect. Over at Dunelm, for example, the Ceramic Ribbed Vase with Beaded Edge gives a similar matte ceramic look for £12.

As with all of Kelly’s M&S items, this Petal Ceramic Vase won’t last long, so if you want to add it to your basket, it’s best not to leave it too long.
Though large enough to display spring bouquets, if you want an even bigger vase, Marks & Spencer shoppers have been racing to snap up another one of its newest launches. The Striped Ceramic Vase is £29.50 and comes in a neutral colour combination of beige and cream that would suit almost any decor. It has a striped pattern which has been hand-painted on for a unique finish, and looks great filled with flowers or twigs, or just left on its own as a sculptural piece.
The Striped Ceramic Vase is large enough to support a big bouquet of flowers, measuring 28.8cm high, 23.7cm wide and 25.5cm long. Its impressive size makes it a great statement piece to place in the middle of a dining table or coffee table, or as an addition to a display on a sideboard.
