Multiple regions across the UK are set for torrential downpours this week, with Brits in the worst-hit areas warned to expect flooding, travel chaos and power cuts.
The Met Office has issued a yellow rain warning from Wednesday to Friday, covering parts of Central, Tayside and Fife, Grampian, Highlands and Eilean Siar. Persistent rain is forecast for the regions, expected to start at around noon on Wednesday and lasting until Friday at noon.
