Meghan Markle marked seven years of marriage with Prince Harry with an image of a notice board featuring a collection of snapshots of the couple from their private photo album – and it featured several hidden details

Meghan Markle opened up her private family photo album as she marked seven years of marriage to Prince Harry. To celebrate the milestone, the Duchess of Sussex took to Instagram, where she posted a notice board featuring a collection of never-before-seen images as well as sweet notes that chart their relationship from meeting in 2016 to the present day.

The post was accompanied by a message from Meghan thanking those “who have loved and supported us throughout our love story”. And here we take a look at some of the hidden details in the noticeboard that you may have missed

Never-before-seen snaps of Archie and Lilibet

As well as featuring snaps of Harry and Meghan, the noticeboard also shows never-before-seen photos of their children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet. One of them shows Harry tenderly cradling the head of one of their children as a swaddled newborn.

There’s also snaps of Archie embracing his younger sister as he kisses her on the head in front of a Christmas tree, while another shows the family of four enjoying a painting session together in their garden.

Wedding song lyrics

Not only does the noticeboard feature snaps, but there are also messages pinned to it that have been written in Meghan’s signature style of calligraphy.

And right next to a wedding photo of the couple next to a note that says ‘2018’ – the year they got married – is the written lyrics to the song ‘Stand By Me’.

In one of the highlights of Harry and Meghan’s wedding seven years ago, the gospel singers from the London-based Kingdom Choir gave a beautiful performance of the song.

Coat of arms

Also posted next to a photo of their wedding is a printed version of Harry and Meghan’s coat of arms. It was initially unveiled days after they wed seven years ago and features several meaningful nods to the couple.

The colour blue represents the Pacific Ocean while golden poppies are featured, which is a nod to Meghan’s home state of California, as it is the state’s flower.

Baby scan

Another intimate detail featured on the board is a pregnancy scan that appears to be next to a label that says Archie. Also close by is a picture of a heavily pregnant Meghan, which suggests it’s from the time she was pregnant with her older son.

Botswana trip snaps

Some of the earliest pictures taken that feature on the board are from 2016, when the couple took a private holiday together to Botswana. Harry asked Meghan to join him on the Botswana trip after they’d had just two dates in London.

The pair opened up about the trip in their controversial Netflix series when Harry talked about inviting Meghan on the holiday. He said: “I was astonished that she said yes. This woman, that I’ve really met twice, she’s coming to Botswana, and we’re gonna be living in a tent for five days!”

And Meghan added: “So I get there, this is the first time I’ve seen him in a month. Very awkward at first, like, oh God, do we, do we kiss? Do we? And I just remember he handed me a chicken sandwich!”

Key detail missing

Accompanying the noticeboard image, Meghan also included a special message. Writing on Instagram, she said: “Seven years of marriage. A lifetime of stories. Thanks to all of you (whether by our side, or from afar) who have loved and supported us throughout our love story – we appreciate you.” She added: “Happy anniversary!” followed by a red heart emoji.

However, many royal fans have pointed out how Meghan failed to mention Harry in the post.
