In the new year, McDonald’s will be rolling out some new and returning items on the menu – including two new two wraps and McFlurry. And foodies have been left excited over the news
McDonald’s fans are excited after getting a sneak peak at the 2025 new menu items – and a new wrap has left people drooling.
We are deep into December which probably means that if you are a fast food fan you have already got your hands on the McDonald’s festive menu. From a new Terry’s Chocolate Orange Pie to a Galaxy Caramel McFlurry, as well as a Cheesy McCrispy burger, fans have been left satisfied since its launch mid November. But come the new year, there will be new menu items dropping.
Content creators, who love new food finds online, including Emily Scott on Facebook as well as TikTok’s Big Dassy Bs Foods and UK Newest Foods, recently delighted fans after sharing the new January 2025 menu. Their posts revealed that from late January 2025, foodies can get their hands on a McCrispy BBQ Smokehouse burger, BBQ rach stack burger, Crispy Chicken Katsu Wrap, Grilled Chicken Katsu Wrap, Mozzarella Dippers and a Milkyway McFlurry.
“Katsu curry wrap, yes, yes, yes,” an excited fan wrote on Facebook. “This looks good,” agreed another.
On TikTok, another observed: “The Milky Way and katsu wrap are the only good looking things there.” “Yay mozzarella dippers, “wrote another.
“Katsu wrap sounds intriguing,” said another. “Okay Katsu wrap is pretty sound,” agreed another social media user.
But some seemed less than impressed on Facebook and shared what they would like to see on the menu. One individual said: “After Eight McFlurry again please.” “Chicken legends were unreal they should bring them back,” wrote another.
“Bring back apple pie and ice cream,” said a dessert fan. Another requested: “I just want the big tasty on the menu permanently along with the cheese bites.”
Plus, recently McDonald’s fans have also been raving about the Grimace Shake to the UK menu for a limited time. It was so popular stores were selling out of the viral milkshake within a matter of days. It has returned to the festive menu this December – but it won’t be here for long.
The milkshake, priced at £2.69 for a medium size or £2.99 for a large, is inspired by the iconic purple McDonald’s character Grimace and is made by mixing blueberry syrup and a creamy milkshake base.
The Mirror have contacted McDonald’s for a comment.
