Maya Jama has sent fans wild with her latest Instagram post, in which she officially ‘hard launched’ her relationship with Manchester City footballer Rúben Dias. The couple has been rumoured to have been together for months now, and it seems they’ve finally gone Instagram official.
As exciting as the official announcement is, another thing from the post caught our eye: Maya’s enviable style, which seems to have sparked a new Amalfi fashion trend.
From monochromatic swimwear to cool-girl denim shorts and chic all white fits, Maya’s Italian fashion looks have been on point and given us a little summer wardrobe inspo for the new season.

Of course, denim shorts are a summer staple that we can’t go without. What we enjoy most about Maya’s is that they aren’t as long as Bermuda shorts or jorts but not small enough to show everything off. They look similar to Abercrombie’s Curve Love denim shorts, which are perfect if you’ve got curves like Maya’s, as they fit in all the right places and don’t have that dreaded waist gap.

A silky slip skirt and vest is a summer holiday outfit formula that simply never fails, and here Maya is proving just that. Aboard her yacht on the Amalfi Coast, Maya rocked an all-white midi skirt and cami combo, teamed with her natural beachy waves.

In Rúben’s official Instagram couple post, Maya can be seen rocking a square-neck white dress just above the knee that totally nails that classy Italian lady look. Although the micro mini is back in, so are lengths that hit around the knee, whether above, below, or just on it. We’re talking very 90s-style. And this is the perfect option if you’re looking to cover your legs up that little bit.
The option we’ve found from Nobody’s Child is slightly longer and more A-line than Maya’s. However, we think it perfectly nails that ‘Italian girl summer’ aesthetic. Simply pair it with a basket bag, strappy sandals, and a silky headscarf.
