Three men have been arrested following a ‘large-scale indicent of affray’ at a garage in Bradford on Saturday – West Yorkshire Police is appealing for information

A group of around 17 people were seen with weapons including bats and metal bars. Police were called at 7.18pm on Saturday to reports that three men were attacked by “multiple armed men” at a garage on Gledhill Road in Bradford on Saturday.
Police are appealing for information after a “large-scale incident of affray” at the garage. Officers said three men were taken to hospital and it is “understood that 17 people were involved and arrived and left in three vehicles, including a black Nissan Nivara”.
West Yorkshire Police said in a statement that three arrests have been made. Two 24-year-old men and a 50-year-old man, all from Bradford, were arrested. An update posted earlier today said the two 24-year-old men remain in custody, while the older man was interviewed and released on conditional bail.
Detective Inspector Andrew Queen, of Bradford CID, said: “This appears to have been a targeted, pre-planned attack with those involved turning up at the premises armed with bats and metal bars.
“Thankfully, while one of the victims continues to receive hospital treatment, all three are expected to make a full recovery. This incident was understandably very concerning for those involved though, and we are conducting extensive enquiries to identify those responsible.
“There is CCTV which shows the events surrounding this incident and I am hopeful that someone may have more information about the individuals or vehicles involved in this offence.”
