The Regatta Risley Waterproof Boots cost just £35 and are available in three colours – charcoal, black and brown – in sizes 3 to 7

Marks and Spencer has launched a range of waterproof boots that are being compared to a celeb-loved brand – but at a fraction of the cost. The retailer’s online exclusive Regatta Risley Waterproof Boots are being snapped up for just £35, coming in charcoal, black and brown, and available in sizes 3 to 7.

They’ve been a hit with shoppers as they are supposedly ‘selling fast’, showcasing their popularity among bargain hunters. In contrast, Ugg boots – which are reportedly favoured by Gigi Hadid – will set you back £185 from UGG and Next, making M&S’s offering an epic saving.

As the name of the shoes states, the boots are waterproof and can withstand the rain the UK so often gets. Speaking about this detail, the M&S description states this adds “practicality to your wintry off-duty outfits”.

With a mid-height length, the inside of the shoe is lined with faux fur for added warmth and the insocks ensure ‘superior comfort underfoot’. Meanwhile, the boots’ cleated soles deliver ‘substantial grip’ for those days where the ground it a bit too slippery.

Customers are praising the £35 boots stating how ideal they are for the coming winter. One said: “Product is very very good and perfect for the coming winter! These were bought as a gift. “I had already bought a pair last year for myself and loved them. Very comfortable.”

Another commented: “Very stylish boots. Purchased these for my daughter. She is very pleased with them. Good looking, warm and comfortable.”

“Great buy,” added a third, remarking: “Comfortable and very good value for money. Correct sizing,” reports Birmingham Live.

Yet, not all feedback was quite as glowing, as one customer’s hopes were dashed by the quality, stating: “Nice cheaper version of Uggs. Soles too thin for walking on pavement. Disappointed.”

That being said, for the most part the feedback on the online exclusive boots has been glowing, with a 4.3 star average and one reviewers yearning for the colder weather to come so they can wear them: “The stitching around the boot is stunning. It is very sturdy, perfectly done and very attractive. I can’t wait for the cold weather to come.”
