Perfect for wearing with jeans, dresses, skirts and leggings, one shopper said they made her “feel a million dollars”
Ever since Beyonce’s Renaissance outfits took over the globe (who run the world, right?) cowboy boots have become a major wardrobe staple. And Marks and Spencer shoppers have found a stunning yet affordable pair that are perfect for nailing the 2024 trends.
Coming in at under £50, fashion fans have been raving about the Cow Boy Block Heel Boots, which are great for adding a Western edge to your outfits.
Available in sizes 3-8, the £45 boots come in classic black faux leather, or a chic antique silver for a more glam look that leans into metallic looks we’ve seen all over the high street, the Liverpool Echo reports. What’s more is that they’re a whopping £115 cheaper than this similar looking pair from Dune, sold in Selfridges.
Featuring quilted stitched detailing on both sides, and mid-height slanted block heels for a bit of lift, the boots are said to ‘go with everything’ and can be worn all day without hurting. And for the ultimate Western feel, they boast pointed toes and pull on tabs, which wearers say makes them easy to pull on and off.
The boots have racked up a 4.7 star rating out of five from fans, who say they’re ‘really comfy’ and ‘just the right height’.
One said: “Absolutely fabulous boots. Bought them in silver and they make me feel a million dollars.”
“Fabulous cowboy boots in silver. Very comfortable & look great with jeans, leggings & skirts. Had a lot of positive comments,” said another.
A third penned: “Love them! The boots are really comfy (even after wearing them for a few hours), they look great and I’m really pleased with my purchase.”
However, one said the fabric was ‘too stiff’, commenting: “So disappointed, very wide around the top, stiff material. Just didn’t work for me.” But others liked the wider top, adding: “Very Very comfy boots, leather isn’t hard and stiff. Easy to pull on having wide tops. The heel is just the right height for wearing all day in comfort. I’m really pleased with these and will wear a lot, good price too.”
The calf-high boots are a great introduction to the cowboy style if you’re not ready to commit to a knee-high look, which means they’re ideal for wearing with jeans, leggings, skirts, dresses and more.
It comes as Pinterest has predicted ‘Western goth’ to be a big trend in 2024, initially in homeware, but we can see it bleeding into wardrobes, too – especially for festival season. Pinterest’s report said: “Giddy up. There’s a new home trend in town. Meet Western goth: your soon-to-be décor obsession that will mix vintage Americana chic with deep, moody hues.
“Expect to see Gen Z and Boomers DIY in style with sultry touches, such as dark fringes and even darker paints. See you soon at the (gothic-inspired) saloon.”
