A mystic who is said to have predicted huge world events like the Covid pandemic has unveiled his chilling predictions for 2026, from extreme weather to international conflict
A mystic who calls himself the “Living Nostradamus” has unveiled his new predictions for 2026, sharing what he fears most in the upcoming year.
Brazil native Athos Salomé has become renowned for his eerie prophecies and often shares his yearly forecasts just before we roll into the New Year. He is said to have predicted various world events, including the sad death of Queen Elizabeth II and the Covid pandemic.
And his warnings for 2026 ahead might make for unsettling reading as you tuck into your Christmas chocolate and curl up on the sofa this Twixmas period. From devastating weather events to increasing international conflicts, saddle up for Salomé’s chilling predictions for the year ahead…
WW3 threat
The final months of 2025 have seen WW3 fears reach new heights as Russia continues to unleash direct threats to Europe, and the mystic fears that conflict could escalate even further in 2026.
It’s feared that the UK could now be facing the “greatest military threat of a generation”, with Brits warned to prepare “for the scale of war our grandparents or great-grandparents endured.” In a haunting speech given in Germany this month, Western military alliance’s chief Mark Rutte said: “Russia is already escalating its covert campaign against our societies.”
And according to Chatham House, Russian expansion in the Arctic is “increasingly becoming a key security challenge for Europe”. Salomé said of the year ahead: “The most recent interceptions indicate that Russia is moving missile systems to strategic areas in the Arctic. This increases the likelihood of direct confrontations with NATO during the ice melt in 2026.”
The psychic also claimed that Russia could “call up approximately 800,000 reservists by March 2026” to prepare a “more assertive approach to cybersecurity and air defence”.
This comes as tensions continue to rise over the war in Ukraine, with President Volodymyr Zelensky ruling out the possibility of handing over Ukranian territory to Russia. Meanwhile, a peace proposal drafted by Washington and Moscow suggests that significant swathes of Ukraine will be surrendered to Russian President Vladimir Putin, with potential limits placed on the Ukrainian military.

‘Chaos in space’
The mystic is most concerned about the threat of devastating solar storms in 2026, as they could spark mass disruption and power outages. Salomé claims there is “consistent evidence” to suggest that the space weather forecast would happen in March.
He told Unilad: “Since 2024, it has peaked in solar activity and exhibited a marked trend of increasing instability. This is not inflated language. It mirrors an actual physical risk that’s growing month after month. My direct and objective perspective is as follows: Solar storms now seem like the most plausible scenario to have such immediate impact on daily life, and backed by robust science.”
Salomé warns that his prediction deserves complete focus, “not out of fear, but rather due to measurable signals in synchrony with potential power cuts, communication failures and technological disruptions in affected regions”. Solar activity can strike “swiftly, without much warning,” making his forecast the most urgent of all.
NASA says that a solar storm is an eruption of particles, debris and magnetic fields, which are shot into our solar system by the Sun. The space administration shared that when these objects are directed towards Earth, our planet’s magnetic field can be disrupted enough for energy blackouts to occur.
And although the Living Nostradamus’ warnings has been supported by various scientists, with the solar cycle first reported to have began in November, 2024, NASA also highlighted this was not likely to effect the general public. They stated that this weather phenomenon occurs every 11 years, where, at its peak, the magnetic poles of the Sun are flipped – with the Sun entering a stormy state.
A previous storm took place in September 1859, named The Carrington Event where an impressive auroral display was spotted, along with telegraph stations reporting fires, according to the University of Alaska’s Geophysical Institute.
