The bodies of a man and a dog have tragically been found inside a parked van in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police were called to a layby on the B3273, St Austell, at 3pm on Friday, May 1, following concerns raised about the vehicle.

Both the man and the dog were discovered dead inside the van, and the next of kin have since been informed.

Officers say investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident, although it is not being treated as suspicious. A file is to be prepared for the coroner, reports Cornwall Live, reports Devon Live.
