A man and a teenager have been taken to hospital after suffering gunshot wounds on a residential street in Solihull – with their injuries believed to be life-threatening
A teenage boy and man have been rushed to hospital with life-threatening injuries after the pair were shot on a Solihull street in the early hours.
The incident unfolded on Vauxhall Crescent at around 2.30am today, Monday, June 15.
Police are yet to make any arrests as inquiries continue to trace the perpetrator.
One resident reported hearing “at least four gunshots last night,” reports Birmingham Live.
A blue police forensic tent was set up while officers scoured the area for evidence.
“We are investigating after shots were fired in Vauxhall Crescent, Smith’s Wood, this morning,” a police spokesman said.
“We were called after a man and a teenage boy were injured just before 2.40am today (15 June).
“They were taken to hospital with gunshot wounds with their injuries initially believed to be life-threatening.”
