Beauty fans are raving about Primark’s affordable makeup primer as a budget-friendly alternative to Huda Beauty’s £30 version, and it’ll set you back just mere pounds

A bargain hunter has shared that there’s no need to spend £30 on a high-end primer, because she’s found an ideal alternative in Primark, and she reckons it’s just as good as the original everyone loves. She wants to prove that quality cosmetics are within reach for everyone, not just those with deep pockets, and there’s no need to compromise on standards either.

Just because it’s significantly cheaper doesn’t mean that you have to scrimp when it comes to quality. A shopper boasted that she’d found a gorgeous version of a £68 OUAI set for a mere £7 in Primark, insisting the scents were almost “identical”. And that’s far from the only steal on offer right now in the budget-friendly store.

Alicia Land, who posts on TikTok as @alicialydialand, said that if you’re a devotee of the £30 Huda Beauty Easy Blur Silicone-Free Smoothing Primer, you’ll be thrilled with Primark’s £4 alternative, which is a staggering £26 saving.

The Huda Primer is described as “jelly-like,” and “blends clear upon application for an airbrushed, soft focus finish that mattifies skin and keeps makeup fresh”.

“This blur primer is exactly the same as the Huda Beauty Easy Blur Primer, but for just £4,” Alicia gushed.

“If you have big pores, you will absolutely love this as it smooths the skin so well.”

In the comments section, one shopper said Primark’s “blur range is amazing”, and given the wallet-friendly price tag, it’s certainly worth a look.

The Primark website states: “Prep and smooth your face with this blurring facial primer, enriched with Vitamin E.”

At just £4, it’s an absolute steal — and if you’ve ever splashed out on the Huda version, you’ll completely understand why Alicia is singing its praises by comparison.

Alicia also flagged several other dupes featured in the video, highlighting a £3 alternative to Maybelline’s Grippy Serum primer, which retails at £10.99.

There’s also a rival to the Nars pot concealer for just £3.50, while the original will set you back a whopping £30.

For Huda devotees, Primark stocks a foundation similar to the £32 Huda Beauty Easy Blur Natural Airbrush Foundation for a mere £4. Alicia enthused that it looks “flawless on the skin”.

If it’s a lip product you’re after, the Glossy Lip Stain is available for £3. Alicia claimed these are “so much better than the NYX Lip IV ones,” which are priced at £10.99, adding that the Primark versions are “a lot more pigmented”.

Naturally, beauty is subjective, and if you’re considering swapping to a cheaper alternative, it’s worth doing your homework beforehand.
