A board game is being recalled due to small magnets that could pose a serious health risk
A board game has been issued with a product recall notice, after it was discovered that it could present a “serious health risk”. The game is being voluntarily recalled from shops.
Kluster (Magnetic Game) from Borderline Editions is being recalled by the manufacturer, as the game contains small, powerful magnets that could present a health risk if swallowed.
Kluster, which is stocked in retailers including supermarkets Asda and Waitrose, could present a particularly serious safety risk to youngsters. Customers who have bought the affected product are being urged to stop using the item immediately.
The board game affected by the recall can be found below, along with the barcode number:

- Date: Sold from August 2024
- Barcode number: EAN: 3770003625605
On Borderline Editions’ website, it reads: “Kluster is not a toy and must be kept out of reach of children under 14 years of age.”
The board game includes 24 magnetic stones, one rope, one carrying bag, and one game rule, reports the Express.
Customers have been warned that ingestion of the magnets can cause internal injuries requiring urgent medical attention.
For those who have bought the affected board game, customers are instructed to package up the game.
The product can then be returned to the place of purchase, or the nearest branch of the shop purchased from, for a full refund.
