A long stretch of the M6 closed after police were called to attend a “welfare incident”.
Drivers have been asked to find alternative routes following the closure between J1 and J2 near Rugby, Warwickshire.
National Highways said at 2:42pm today that the M6 “is blocked northbound” between the M1 and A14 and J1 and “CLOSED southbound between J2 (Coventry) and J1 (Rugby) due to a Police-led incident”.
