A serious crash has closed a stretch of the M5 in Gloucestershire this evening.
The motorway is closed between junctions 14 and 13, with all emergency services at the scene, including an air ambulance.
National Highways said: “Following a serious collision, the #M5 is currently closed in both directions between J14 (#Thornbury) and J13 (#Stroud). All emergency services including the air ambulance are in attendance. #TrafficOfficers are assisting with strategic closures on the approach.”
Traffic monitoring site Inrix reports: “M5 Southbound closed due to accident from J13 A419 (Stroud) to J14 B4509 (Thornbury / Falfield).”
