A major firefighting operation has been launched after a large blaze broke out on a residential street.
Fire crews rushed to the scene in Loughton, Essex this afternoon following reports of a fire.
Photographs from the scene showed large plumes of smoke billowing from behind a row of houses.
Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said in a statement to local media: “We were called to reports of a shed fire in Barfields, Loughton, today at 4.37pm.
“Crews from Loughton and Waltham Abbey are in attendance.”
