Police have raced to a residential area and cordoned off multiple streets after a man was shot.
Several roads in Stockbridge Village in Knowsley, Liverpool, have been sealed off this morning, with Merseyside Police called to Boode Croft at around 7.20am.
It followed a report that a man, who police believe to be aged in his 30s, had been shot in the leg.
