Lily Allen’s West End Girl tour theatre run saw her transform the stage into a scene complete with a bed, with fans desperate to know where to track down the velvet floral bedding

The much-anticipated theatre run of Lily Allen’s West End Girl tour has come to an end whilst she prepares for her next run of arena dates, and fans can’t stop talking about her performances. For each show, Lily transformed the stage into a complete scene which included a bed covered in floral velvet bedding that looked so luxurious, fans were begging to know where to buy it for themselves.

Luckily for those wanting to give their bedroom a West End Girl makeover, we managed to track down what looks to be the exact bedding used, and it happens to hail from Dunelm. The set is the Arabella Blue Floral Luxury Velvet Duvet Cover & Pillowcase Set which you can pick up for between £36 and £52 depending on which size you buy.

Although her prop team haven’t confirmed to fans that this is where they bought the bedding, pictures posted on their Instagram page look absolutely identical to the Dunelm Arabella Bedding Set , right down to the floral pattern and the deep teal colour. It comes in sizes single to super king, with the set coming with a duvet cover and matching pillowcases.

It’s made from a super soft velour material and is covered with a bold floral pattern on the top side, whilst the other side is a plain blue. The Arabella Bedding Set will instantly give your bedroom a rich, opulent feel, and was the perfect pick for Lily’s theatrical performance of her album.

The oversized floral pattern is perfect for spring without looking too muted, and if you’re after some other great options, the high street is full of them. At Next, you can pick up the Clarke & Clarke 200 Thread Count Bedding Set for £55 which has a pink and purple-toned print made from a 200 thread count pure cotton sateen.

Meanwhile at Marks & Spencer, the MM Linen Pure Cotton Fiori Bedding Set is pricier at between £95-£130 but is made from breathable 100% cotton with a 220 thread count. However if you want the velvet feel without the bold pattern, Dusk’s Rome Velvet Greek Matelasse Bedspread comes in dusty pink and sage green, and is great for throwing over your existing bedding to instantly upgrade it.

However, Dunelm’s Arabella Bedding Set has an impressive 4.8 star rating, with shoppers praising how luxe it looks. One said: “A beautiful duvet, the material is soft and warm and dries quite quickly.”

Another wrote: “Absolutely stunning duvet. The velveteen is warm but not overly so. Pattern of flowers is lovely. Very good price for the whole set.”

Whilst a third said: “Super comfy. Beautiful pattern and reasonably priced.”

The lowest ratings from shoppers are four star, with one saying: “Yes beautiful cover set but we don’t like the velvet next cover we will stick to cotton.”

Another said: “Looks just like the picture. Gorgeous colour and the velvet top feels wonderful and soft. However, the side that’s actually touching you isn’t velvet like I expected. But it is still soft and nice so I’m not too disappointed plus my head gets to lie on velvet pillows.”
