Lidl fans can continue to upgrade their kitchen for a fraction of the price
People considering a major investment in a popular Ninja appliance could save £100 by taking advantage of Lidl’s latest sale. Shoppers could keep an eye on their meals as they cook with the store’s upcoming “practical” piece of kitchen tech.
The Silvercrest Glass Air Fryer (from £49.99) is coming out this Sunday, August 2. Lidl bosses claim it has heat-resistant glass containers that can be used for cooking and storage without needing to transfer food to another container. Air fryers are a popular alternative to traditional ovens. Lidl’s device has four pre-set programmes for quick selection, including air fry, roast, re-fry and keep warm.

The design is similar to the Ninja Crispi 4-in-1 Portable Glass Air Fryer. It is available directly from the brand for £149.99.
This latest round of kitchen gadgets comes after the budget supermarket brought out a machine that was nearly identical to the Ninja Creami – but the price is £130 less. Now, Lidl fans can continue to upgrade their kitchenware and appliances for a fraction of the price.
Lidl refreshes its famous middle aisle in the UK twice a week, rolling out new themed stock every Thursday and Sunday. While the objects appear random to the untrained eye, regular shoppers will know that the budget supermarket follows a careful set of themes each week.
For example, this week includes various kitchen appliances. They will feature alongside items classed as DIY, Household and Kids’ Play – see everything currently in stores – and coming soon – here.
Items operate on a “when it’s gone, it’s gone” basis. Popular goods often sell out on the first day, while remaining items stay until cleared or moved for new promotions.
What else is being released on Sunday, August 2?
Shoppers can check upcoming theme drops in advance on the Lidl Middle of Lidl page or in the Lidl Plus app. Customers can also view a digital version of the weekly magazine on the Lidl Online Leaflets page.
By entering their postcode on the website or in the app, shoppers can preview the themes and exact pricing for the upcoming Thursday and Sunday drops. If an item is already released, shoppers can stay up to date on stock in specific stores using the supermarket’s AI assistant here.
