A number of popular food products, including fruit, crisps, and more, have been urgently recalled over the last week.

A string of popular food products, ranging from fruit to crisps and beyond, have been urgently pulled from shelves over the past week following the identification of serious safety concerns.

Shoppers are being urged not to consume any of the affected items and to carefully check packaging details against official recall notices.

The recalls cover multiple brands and food varieties, underlining just how broadly the issue could impact supermarket shelves. Among the most alarming cases is one product reported to potentially contain “pieces of metal.”

We’ve put together a full list of last week’s recalled food items below.

Morrisons

Morrisons has recalled its Maple & Bacon Back of the Net sharing snack after it emerged that some packs may contain undeclared milk not listed on the label. The Food Standards Agency (FSA) cautioned that this could pose a significant health risk to anyone suffering from a milk allergy or intolerance, reports the Express.

Morrisons is withdrawing the product from sale and has issued recall notices urging customers to return any affected packs and refrain from eating them.

The products affected:

  • Pack size 140g
  • Best before 22 August 2026

A customer notice from Morrisons reads: “Please do not eat this product and return it to your nearest store for a full refund. We don’t need a receipt.

“No other products are affected by this issue. We apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and assure customers of our continuing commitment to the highest standard of product quality and safety.”

Icesupp mango & passionfruit and Icesupp mixed berries

Icesupp has issued a recall of its Mango & Passionfruit and Mixed Berries products owing to a packaging fault that could result in microbiological contamination. The affected items are stocked in community pharmacies across the country.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) is urging consumers not to eat these products and is advising shoppers to return them to their nearest store for a full refund, regardless of whether they have a receipt.

The products affected:

Icesupp mango & passionfruit

  • Pack size 86ml/100g
  • Best before July 2027

“These notices explain to customers why the products are being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.”

Frozen Nutella Croissant

Shoppers are also being strongly advised not to eat Ferrero’s Frozen Nutella Croissants and to take them back to the store for a full refund. This follows concerns that the product may contain metal fragments.

The treat was available in UK Lidl stores prior to the recall. It has since been pulled from shelves in Belgium, Germany, Italy, Spain, Hungary, and Romania for the very same reason.

The products affected:

  • Pack size 4 per pack
  • Batch code L126Z39
  • Best before 06 May 2027
  • Batch code L127Z39
  • Best before 07 May 2027

Ferrero said in a statement: “Ferrero announces the recall of specific batches of its frozen bakery products Nutella Croissant and Nutella Muffin in Europe due to the risk that some products may contain metal fragments.”

They went on to say: “The affected products are limited to specific batches. No other Ferrero product is affected, and consumers can continue to enjoy their products as usual.”

Morrisons Coronation Chicken Pasta

Morrisons has issued a recall of its Coronation Chicken Pasta after it emerged that some packs may contain Florida Salad, which includes milk that is not listed on the label. Consequently, the product could pose a serious health risk to anyone suffering from a milk allergy or intolerance.

The products affected:

  • Pack size 230g
  • Batch code GBB 584 031
  • Use by 30 June 2026

Morrisons said: “Morrisons is recalling the above product from customers and has been advised to contact the relevant allergy support organisations, which will tell their members about the recall.

“The company has also issued a point-of-sale notice to its customers. These notices explain to customers why the product is being recalled and tell them what to do if they have bought the product. Please see the attached notice.”

Prepworld fruit products

A number of fruit packages have been withdrawn from sale after Salmonella was detected during testing. The bacteria, which can trigger diarrhoea, fever, nausea and vomiting, were found on apples and kiwis used in Prepworld packs that had been stocked in supermarkets.

These fruit packs are understood to have been available at major retailers, including Morrisons, Tesco and Asda, prior to the recall being issued.
