There’s nothing quite like that first cup of coffee in the morning, but if you’re fed up of waiting in queues at your local coffee shop or having to settle for boring old instant first thing in the morning, getting yourself a coffee machine might well be the answer. Although it might seem you like you have to fork out a hefty cost if you want to get a fancy machine that makes decent coffee, now may well be the perfect time to nab a bargain.

With Amazon Prime Day coming up on July 16, many brands are already launching their very own deals in the run up to the event, meaning you can already snap up a great saving. Fancy free takeaway delivery? Access to Deliveroo Plus is one of a host of advantages of Amazon Prime membership, including exclusive Prime Day discounts and perks on Hello Fresh, music, books and Prime Video. Usually £8.99 a month, you can now get a 30-day free trial to get access to the latest deals.

One of the coffee machine’s biggest selling points is its milk frother, which allows you to whip up creamy milk-based hot drinks like cappuccinos, lattes and macchiatos in no time. The Lavazza and Milk machine is also compatible with Lavazza A Modo Mio coffee pods, so you can pick the recipe that you want and allow the machine to do its thing with just a couple of simple presses of a button.

It can hold up to five different capsules at once, and has a semi-automatic eject function that empties the used capsules for you for minimal clean up time. It also has a compact design that’s perfect for saving space on benches and counters, and can be easily stashed in a cupboard out of sight to give yourself extra room.

Shoppers have been praising it, with one saying: “Pods are good, easy cleaning, quiet extraction. Good value for money . Wish I had the sage but it’s a start.”

Another wrote: “I love the coffee it produces, easy to use, very easy to clean. I take it with me when in my caravan.”

Whilst a third chimed in: “This was a replacement for our previous Lavazza machine which stopped working after 5-6 years. This was the closest replacement although our milk frother, purchased at same time as original machine but a separate item, is still working so didn’t really need a new one. This machine, however, is more compact and obviously a newer design with the integrated milk frother which works extremely well for the cappuccinos and lattes respectively. Would definitely recommend for the price.”

However some complained about receiving a more dated version of the machine, with one writing: “We are disappointed as the picture showed us that the milk frother was connected to the coffee machine as we only wanted one electrical plug, now we have 2” whilst another said: “We ended up receiving the older version with a separate milk frother. Had to return, still waiting for refund.”

If you want to make sure your frother is definitely integrated into your machine, Lakeland is also currently offering a great saving on its Lakeland Digital Espresso Maker Black. The machine has been slashed from £119.99 to £64.99, saving you £55 on the coffee maker with shoppers saying it’s an: “Excellent coffee maker compact and easy to clean.”
