Debenhams shoppers are praising a “brilliant” laundry basket that comes with sections for sorting clothes and wheels for manoeuvrability. Made from eco-friendly plastic, the basket is divided into three compartments and is “durable and lightweight,” with the four wheels on the bottom making it easier to move piles of laundry around your home.
It’s also on sale at the moment, priced at £34.50, down from £115 – a 70% saving. Those who’ve invested so far have been broadly very pleased with the purchase, with an average rating of four stars out of five.
One said: “This laundry basket is top notch, with it being on wheels I don’t have to carry my laundry to the washer, I just wheel it which is really handy when you are disabled. I wish I had seen this before.”

Another left their thoughts: “Brilliant. Easy to assemble and helps to sort washing. Being on wheels makes it easy to move about.”
A third said: “This space saving laundry basket with separate baskets for sorting washing is so useful, love it.” But one buyer did point out an issue: “Too small and easily falls over when (the) bottom section is open.”
Another highlighted a flaw: “Does the job at separating laundry. Wheels OK on flat surfaces, not so good on carpet.”
Amazon also stocks a similar product, the StorageWorks Laundry Hamper with Wheels, though that one doesn’t have separate compartments to split your washing up. That also has a discount, though remains slightly more expensive than the Debenhams option, with it priced at £39.99, down from £49.99.
A buyer of that product said: “Much bigger than I expected and perfect for our 5 person house, good quality and lovely colour.” One flaw was highlighted by another: “Hamper serves its purpose and the frame is very sturdy. Only issue is the buckles were on opposite sides so can’t be used, which causes the weight of the clothes to pull the bag down.”
