Pictures have shown piles of teddy bears on sale inside the King’s official gift shop in Sandringham – as his brother Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, known for a huge cuddly toy collection, moves to his new home on the estate

King Charles’ official shop at Sandringham has stocked up with piles of teddy bears – amid Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor’s move to his new permanent home on the estate. Snaps show dozens of cuddly toys for sale in the shop, which is open to visitors to the Norfolk estate.

The bears, which are being sold for £14.99, include one wearing a knitted jumper with the word Sandringham across it and another showing a bear in a crown and a robe. It comes as former prince Andrew, known for his apparent vast collection of cuddly toys, prepares to move into his new permanent home of Marsh Farm on the Sandringham estate.

The former Duke of York was booted out of Royal Lodge, a 30-room Windsor mansion, in January following the latest release of the Epstein files.

He set up a temporary home at Wood Farm in Sandringham, where he was arrested on his 66th birthdat last month. But in the coming days, he is expected to move into the nearby five bedroom cottage, Marsh Farm, which has undergone extensive renovations in order to make it habitable for him.

In recent weeks, there have been a number of deliveries at Marsh Farm, with removal workers seen taking boxes labelled ‘HRH’ into the property. It’s unknown if the contents include his collection of teddies, which a former Buckingham Palace maid claimed he would have arranged on his bed in size order.

Charlotte Briggs, who worked at the Palace in the 90s, once claimed that the toys had to be lined up in size order, and it took staff an entire day to be trained on how to arrange them on his bed.

Meanwhile, new security fences have been erected, with a Sky TV engineer seen installing television and broadband services. Royal sources have confirmed that the King has met the refurbishment costs himself due to his brother’s wrecked finances.

Last week, a mobile home was delivered to Sandringham and installed next to his new home of Marsh Farm. Sources have confirmed the luxury caravan will be used for security staff, paid for by the King, to stay over when needed.

It comes as the King has given an order to his disgraced brother, which has left aides in a race against time to remove any trace of the disgraced ex-royal. The monarch last month brought forward a deadline for Mountbatten-Windsor to clear Royal Lodge of his belongings.

Royal aides have in the past few days been clearing out the remaining possessions from Royal Lodge, including the staff quarters where Andrew was waited on night and day by royal flunkies.

A number of skips have been loaded and removed from the estate, with removal vans seen coming and going. Staff have also been setting fire to further unwanted belongings of their own.

The King commanded his shamed brother to leave the Windsor home he had lived in for over 20 years, paying a peppercorn rent after signing an initial lease worth £7.5million in 2002. Andrew denies any wrongdoing.
