Almost 30,000 extra seats are on sale for summer 2026 – here’s what you need to know
Jet2 has announced some exciting news for Brits seeking sunshine abroad in 2026. The low-cost airline has expanded its summer programme to Greece by putting almost 30,000 extra seats on sale from UK airports to four popular destinations.
The additional services will be available from July to September 2026 from Birmingham, Leeds Bradford, Manchester and London Stansted Airports. While extra flights will go to Crete (Chania), Crete (Heraklion), Kos, and Santorini, these are just four of 15 destinations Jet2 will operate this summer.
Jet2 insists the expansion will make it the ‘largest operator to Greece from the UK’ for summer 2026. The schedule of extra flights going on sale to Greece is as follows:
Birmingham Airport:
- Crete (Chania) – additional weekly Wednesday services operating from July 1 to September 23, 2026.
- Santorini – additional Thursday services operating from July 2 to September 24, 2026. This is an exclusive Jet2 route.
Leeds Bradford Airport:
- Kos – additional Saturday services operating from July 4 to September 26, 2026. This is an exclusive Jet2 route.
London Stansted Airport:
- Crete (Chania) – additional weekly Sunday services operating from July 19 to September 27, 2026.
Manchester Airport:
- Crete (Heraklion) – additional Wednesday and Friday services operating from July 1 to September 25, 2026, meaning two daily flights available on these days during this time.

Overall, Jet2 reports that more than 3.5 million seats are on sale for summer 2026. This covers 131 routes, including 25 new ones. Holidaymakers travelling to Greece specifically can also choose from leisure flights with Jet2.com or ATOL-protected package holidays with Jet2holidays
