Jellycat soft toys have become hugely popular with adults and children alike, but Home Bargains has released Easter-themed plushies for much cheaper that shoppers are calling “adorable”.

Jellycat soft toys have become a sensation, charming both adults and children alike, with some fans even willing to splash out hundreds of quid on the adorable plushies.

But now, Home Bargains has unveiled its latest collection of teddies that bear an uncanny resemblance to the real deal. The bargain retailer is offering some incredibly cute Easter-themed Jellycat lookalikes for just £1.99.

Jellycat, which has been around since 1999, is known for its animal-themed plushies suitable for all ages.

However, in recent years, the company has expanded its range to include plushies of almost anything you can imagine, from fruits and vegetables to plants and sports gear.

Their wildly popular Happy Boiled Egg plushie retails at £18, while the Croissant is priced at £20 and the Carrot goes for £35.

But now, savvy shoppers have spotted Home Bargains’ alternative and are flocking to snap them up, reports the Express.

Just in time for Easter, the discount homeware store has launched its own egg, carrot and hot cross bun plushies, complete with adorable smiley faces and little legs, much like their Jellycat counterparts.

The range is priced at a mere £1.99 for the 20cm plushies. Home Bargains has also introduced bunny plushes, which bear a striking resemblance to the classic Jellycat teddies.

A Bashful Bunny from Jellycat starts at £18, but Home Bargains offers grey and white bunnies starting from just £3.99.

The budget-friendly store also has an Easter-inspired teddy clutching a carrot for a mere £2.49.

Devotees of the adorable soft toys have already clocked the budget-friendly option, with one TikTok user gushing: “They are so cute.” Another exclaimed: “I need these!” A third chimed in: “OMG, need!”

Jellycat boasts a roster of high-profile admirers, including Princess Charlotte, who has been photographed clutching her beloved Fuddlewuddle dog.

The brand typically unveils two fresh collections annually, with enthusiasts counting down the days to the summer launch.

The company has even launched a pop-up shop at Selfridges in London, complete with an interactive experience where devotees can snap up exclusive fish and chip plushies.
