January sale is still ongoing and it’s the best time of the deal to snap up deals and gift sets as brands dropped prices before new collections land in store – but the discounts are not going to be around for much longer

Whether you are looking to save on presents for next Christmas or simply want to try new bodycare products, we have included retailers like Boots, Molton Brown and Rituals.
British fragrance brand Molton Brand has dropped prices on a huge range of bath and bodycare, as well as travel sets, with prices starting from £8. As a big Molton Brown fan, I have been waiting for my favourite scent, Heavenly Gingerlily, to be on sale. It’s reminiscent of a botanical garden with notes of exotic fragrant plants opening your senses. While the shower gel is not on offer, I found a travel-friendly Heavenly Gingerlily Body Lotion in 100ml for £8.40 instead of £12.
Shoppers can find the scent in a 10-piece Stocking Filler Gift Set, which is worth £50 and now reduced to £29.40, featuring bestselling body washes from a charismatic woody icon to an intriguing, amber-rich scent and dreamy floral favourites. They are great for travelling and make the perfect gift for someone special.

Molton Brown has also put their its anticipated Christmas Advent Calendar from last year on offer with 30% discount (now £157.50, was £225) but you are actually saving more because the contents behind the 24 doors are worth over £313. The marble-effect calendar is full of fragrant surprises, including six refillable perfumes that can be swapped and fitted in an elegant travel case (worth £25 alone), perfect to use on-the-go.
It has received a high 4.8 star rating based on 81 reviews but one customer noted: “The plastic tops of the ornament bottles were actually cut off. Did they run out of ribbon and instead of getting more, they simply cut the tops off and left jagged plastic. The products were not as generous as they were in the past either. I think I will try a different company next year.”

Ideal for those who seek salt-sprayed, sea swept freshness, this Coastal Cypress & Sea Fennel Travel Gift Set is a five-star bargain. Reduced from £28 to £19.60, the trio includes a body wash, lotion and eau de toilette – all infused with the bracing power of blue cypress, marine notes and an unexpected twist of cinnamon.
“I love the scent of Coastal Cypress and Sea Fennel and particularly the body lotion. The scent lasts all day and the lotion is very good for dry skin,” one shopper said while another shared: “The scent reminds me of the sea side. I love this set, it’s my favourite scent at Molton Brown it has everything you need it’s great value.”

Running from now until February 2, Rituals is launching up to 50% off until stocks last, shoppers are expected to find deals on home diffusers, candles and Christmas gift sets. The Ultimate Men’s Gift Box, which boasts 12 grooming essentials worth £185 including a car perfume, shaving cream, body lotion and more – is now reduced to £69.23.
Depending on the scent you’re after, there are several good value gift sets currently on 20% discounts and in the set, shoppers receive four items ranging from foaming shower gel, candle, body cream, to pillow mist, mini diffuser or body scrub. A unisex scent from The Ritual of Jing Gift Set M is marked down from £43.90 to £35.12.
Looking for something to get rid of that musky smell in your car? Rituals’ Oudh Car Perfume lasts up to six to eight weeks and is activated by the air flow from your car’s fan. It’s now £18.32 instead of £22.90. One shopper said: “If you love patchouli, this is the right place for you. Finally no stupid miracle tree cheapy in the car, great refill system.”
High street drugstore Boots launched a Wellness Box with 17 supplements to help you “restart” your body from within. It retails at £35 but the value is £163.40 – from collagen powder and magnesium tablets to the beauty from within supplements, you’re sure to find lots to love.
In Boots’ clearance sale, shoppers can also find this Luna Daily The Everywhere Body Kit – a three-step bodycare formulated with pH-balancing prebiotics and Vitamins C & E. It includes a full-size body wash, a bestselling, multipurpose body oil and a travel-friendly body wipes – all for £15.
