Debenhams is now selling the stylish hair tool and has cut £100 off the price – something which Dyson isn’t offering in its Black Friday deals
Hair care is something you’ll either love to splash out on or not, whether it’s dropping hundreds at the salon, buying an Olaplex gift set for Christmas, or investing in a styling tool. As the Black Friday sales drop we’ve found a deal that’ll get you £100 off the Dyson Corrale Straightener.
Debenhams has reduced the popular Vinca Blue tool down from £399 to £200, a price drop which is not currently being offered in Dyson’s own Black Friday discounts. Yes, the hair giants have launched their own set of offers but this limited edition blue and rose device is not included in the sale.
In fact, it’s currently showing as out of stock on the Dyson site, something which may have contributed to the ‘in-demand’ deal at Debenhams. In the last 24-hours, 42 people have clicked on the retailer’s offer of bagging 25% off.

Dyson launches Black Friday sale with up to £200 off selected vacuums and devices
Unlike bog-standard straighteners the Dyson Corrale can be used cordless, without the wire, for up to 30-minutes at one time – so if you were in a rush travelling you could potentially do your hair on the go. And once out of battery it has a recharge time of a little over an hour (70 minutes).
A brand known for its patterned technology, Dyson uses Manganese copper plates which have been purposefully designed to shape with the hair – giving stylers more control as they sleekly straighten or curl. Tapping into the specific technology in the tool it has an integrated sensor system – this regulates the temperature of the plates helping hair health – because of lower heat – and also reducing frizz.
However, it’s worth noting that these aren’t the newest pair of Dyson straighteners to launch and with the cheaper £299 price comes without the brand’s recent airflow technology – which can be found on the pricier £399 Airstraight straighteners.
This more advanced pair uses air technology to straighten hair instead of the traditional heated and allows for wet to dry styling with minimal damage. As Dyson explains how it works on its site: “Powerful, directional airflow smooths and aligns hair. Straightens from wet to dry, simplifying your routine. For a natural, straight finish.”
The difference between the cheaper Corrale and Airstraight model is more than just price, as the Corrale is cordless and the Airstraight requires a constant wired cable. Onto volume options and the Airstraight has been designed to achieve a natural volume lift and shine while the Corrale tends to give off a sleek straight finish.
“I have thick coarse hair and the iron requires many passes through the hair to straighten”, said one shopper who recently bought the Debenhams deal. As they continued their review: “I have been using the L’Oréal Steampid but worry that it may be damaging. The ability to charge the iron in advance and travel without the cord is nice too.”
29 Debenhams shoppers have left reviews, however some weren’t as glowing with a few pointing out why they returned the device. One shopper said: “I loved the corrale, however, I returned it for two reasons 1. It’s heavy 2. I don’t like the fact that it has a battery pack, I feel I could leave it switched on or that it would malfunction even when not in the plug.
“I really wish they would make this awesome technology just with a wire and plug and NO battery. I would definitely buy that product.”
If you’re looking for a simple corded straightener we’d recommend looking at GHD’s Black Friday deals too, where the Original styler is currently 14% off, reduced to £119. Elsewhere, Shark offers another version of an airflow straightener with its FlexFusion 5-in-1 Air Styler and Dryer.
