Airbus signed a memorandum of understanding with Ethiopian Airlines for 11 A350-900 planes, as Ethiopia’s flagship carrier adds to its fleet of wide-body aircraft.
The European plane maker didn’t disclose financial details of the agreement signed at the Dubai Airshow, but said it would lift Ethiopian Airlines’ total order book and commitment for the A350 to 33.
The airline currently operates a fleet of 20 A350-900s.
