Our head of beauty Zoe heads to Charlotte Tilbury’s brand new Beauty Wonderland to check out the new skin treatments, beauty rooms and bookable hen or birthday party areas

Charlotte Tilbury has gone all out with her flagship store in London’s Covent Garden, giving it a major glow-up that’ll make any make-up lover feel like they’ve gone to heaven. What’s more? I got a look at it before it opened to the public today (January 9th) and I can confirm that if you thought her original store was dreamy, wait till you see this expanded Beauty Wonderland. It’s bigger, bolder and packed with more magic than ever before. I nearly had to drag myself out kicking and screaming.

The revamped space is heaven for beauty lovers, blending Tilbury’s signature glitz and glam with an ultra-modern vibe. Think luxe gold finishes, glowing mirrors and chic pink accents. It’s not just a shop; it’s a whole experience—like stepping into Charlotte’s very own mind.

What’s new?

For starters, it’s now a whopping 1,200 square feet—plenty of room to play with swatches and test out your fave products. There’s also a fancy new consultation space, where you can book one-on-one sessions with pro artists to get a custom beauty look. Plus, the store also boasts cutting-edge AR (Augmented Reality) technology. Yep, you can virtually try on products to see what suits you without even touching a brush. Want to test that bold red lipstick or dreamy highlighter? Swipe through the digital magic mirror and find your perfect match—no messy testers required.

Oh, and did I mention the Beauty Boudoir? This luxe private space is perfect for glam sessions, from make-up tutorials to group pampering with your besties. Hen parties, birthday treats, or just because—you name it, they’ll make it sparkle.

My favourite part of the new space – and the one I’ll be using the most – is the downstairs Skin Spa. Here, you can enter private treatment rooms for full-on complexion pampering or choose one of the facials from the express menu. Prices start from around £50 and, of course, all of the treatments blend the usual Charlotte Tilbury ingredients goodness. I have my eyes on the Brighten + Smooth Oxi-Revival Facial, which takes 30 minutes and can be done over make-up to boost hydration and your skin’s glow.

What to shop

When I was walking around the shop, I had the chance to see just about every single Charlotte Tilbury product on display, and I was really reminded of some gems I’ve loved in the past. Here are the three products I took home with me that I know you’ll love too…

Charlotte’s Magic Cream, £79

I’ve been using this product for over five years now every morning, and I have no plans to swap it out. I recommend it to anyone – especially those asking me for bridal skin prep products. The glow is gives is next level, plus it blends some SPF protection with high-quality skincare ingredients like hyaluronic acid, peptides, and vitamins C and E.

It was Charlotte’s very first skincare product and, I’m told, the reason her brand was even founded. After formulating the cream for use backstage on models and celebs, she decided it was high time to share the magic with everyone else.

Charlotte’s Magic Serum Crystal Elixir, £65

it’s a total game-changer for my skin. From the very first application, I noticed how lightweight and silky it feels, absorbing instantly without any greasiness. Packed with powerhouse ingredients like niacinamide, vitamin C and polyglutamic acid, it’s like giving your skin a daily dose of glow-boosting goodness. My complexion looks brighter, smoother, and dare I say, more radiant than ever when I reach for this in the mornings.

Hollywood Flawless Filter, £39

This is hands down my secret to looking like I’ve got my life together—even on the busiest days. It’s this magical hybrid of a highlighter, primer and sheer tint that gives my skin the most gorgeous, lit-from-within glow. Whether I use it under foundation for a subtle radiance or dab it on top of my cheekbones for that extra pop, it always leaves me looking fresh and dewy. It’s like an Instagram filter in a bottle, but better because it’s real life.
