A woman has shared three bathroom hacks “that will change the way you clean” and includes shaving cream for shiny shower windows.
Chantel Mila, from Melbourne, has racked up more than 1.5million TikTok followers with her life hacks. And in one video she turns her attention to the bathroom and how to make cleaning quicker along with impressive results.
She starts off saying: “Three bathroom cleaning hacks that will change the way you clean your bathroom. And then Chantel continued with the first: “Mix equal parts dish soap and white vinegar in a dish brush to clean your entire bathroom easily.”
Chantel points out: “It just makes bathroom cleaning so much quicker.” She then moved on to the second hack for removing mildew using the same mix. “This mix is also great at removing mildew from tricky areas from the shower like you shower door seal – yes that door seal comes off!,” she stated.
While for the third hack she adds: “And if you have hazy mirrors buff a small amount of shaving cream onto them to make them shine and prevent fogging.” Many people commented to thank Chantel for the video and also offer suggestions.

Chantel has also offered other hacks for your home including how to keep away bugs. Her go-to repellents include rosemary, water, and orange oil to maintain a bug-free abode. In her video, she shares her three best tricks, starting with a spider-repelling spray: “Mix a cup of water with sprigs of rosemary.
Spray on windows and doors – spiders hate the smell of rosemary, so it repels them from entering your home,” she advises. The next tip is a real game-changer for those struggling with fruit flies in the house. The savvy mum advised: “Pour boiling water down the drain to deter fruit flies and their eggs.” The third nugget of wisdom aims to keep other scuttling pests at bay: “Add orange oil to your mop to repel crawling insects,” she divulged.
