The menu, available this December, allows you to choose three courses for just £28.95
When it comes to Christmas dinner, I’m undeniably traditional. Pile my plate with turkey, stuffing and pigs-in-blankets, and I’ll be set for the day.
So, when I spotted a brand new Christmas Pizza on Prezzo’s 2025 festive menu, I was both excited and sceptical. Could the restaurant really pack the best bits of a roast onto an Italian classic – or am I simply too set in my ways to appreciate it?
So I headed to Prezzo with a few friends to find out, opting for three courses from its latest ‘Christmas Party Menu’ for just £28.95. The menu, available throughout December, also offered a two-course option for £23.95, with the chance to upgrade to bottomless drinks from £21.95.
Choosing my starter was a no-brainer. As a cheese obsessive, the Hot Honey Glazed Giant Mozarella Sticks were calling my name – and they absolutely delivered.
Golden, crunchy and living up to the ‘giant’ description, these sticks oozed stringy molten cheese and paired perfectly with a punchy marinara and basil pesto. While I’d have loved a slightly stronger hit of the honey glaze, this starter is certainly a crowd-pleaser. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone heading to Prezzo this December.
Next came the main event: Prezzo’s Christmas pizza. Loaded with turkey, stuffing, pigs-in-blankets, brie and cranberry ketchup on a thin, crispy tomato base, it certainly wasn’t shy with the toppings.
In an effort to go all-in, I even upgraded to a large one for just £3 extra. This decision I regretted immediately when a pizza the length of my arm landed on the table. I knew I’d never finish it, but even so, it was easily the highlight of my night.
A generous serving of crispy pigs-in-blankets was definitely the best part of the meal. And, to be honest, I’m not sure why we don’t eat these all year-round. Its flavoursome stuffing then came as a close second, followed by the brie and cranberry ketchup, which matched surprisingly well.
In my opinion, the only let-down was the turkey. Served as tiny, slightly rubbery cubes, it took me a second to realise what they even were. For me, perhaps shredded, pulled turkey would have been the ideal finishing touch to this dish, and I found myself really craving it. Still, for my first-ever Christmas pizza, I enjoyed it far more than I expected.
Last but not least, my friends and I indulged in Prezzo’s Hot Chocolate Fudge Cake for dessert. Despite its appearance, it was surprisingly light but rich.
The accompanying salted caramel and chocolate sauce also wasn’t too overpowering, while the crumbled Cadbury Flake and vanilla ice cream scoop were nice touches as well. If anything, serving the cake hot would have made the ice cream contrast even better.
Final verdict?
Overall, Prezzo’s Christmas Party Menu is a great-value feast. The Christmas Pizza and dessert could’ve been slightly better, but for £28.95, you get three hefty courses that feel well worth the price. I left feeling festive and completely full – I’d definitely order these three courses again.
