The LookFantastic Beauty Egg has been a sell-out success for the past eight years, and 2025’s offering is set to be yet another hit with lovers of luxury makeup and skincare
For nine years LookFantastic has been providing shoppers with the ultimate alternative to chocolate with their beauty Easter Egg, with their 2025 offering being yet another showstopper. Much like the retailer’s coveted advent calendar, it’s expected to be a sell-out thanks to its impressive contents and major money savings.
This year’s lineup includes seven premium beauty products from some of the industry’s most well-known names, including Elemis, Medik8, Rodial, and more. Priced at £60, it boasts a staggering value of £205.50, meaning customers save more than £145 on the contents, making it one of the best-value beauty hauls of the season.
Moreover, it remained the same price for three years, with values ranging from £200 to £206. In 2022, it was actually more expensive at £65, so anyone who buys this haul every year – as many do – will appreciate the more affordable price point.

However, if you are looking for something a little more purse-friendly, Glossybox’s Easter Egg for 2025 is worth £198 and priced at £45. So is a great option for those on a tighter budget, being £15 cheaper than LookFantastic, without compromising too much on the overall value. The haul includes popular brands like Iconic London, Rodial, e.l.f and more.
Meanwhile, Rituals has already launched its own take on the trend with its £37.50 offerings. Though nothing has been confirmed, Boots has launched similar limited edition Easter-themed edits in recent years, so we could expect to see something fun from the health and beauty retailer, too.
Diving into the LookFantastic egg, though, it’s easy to see why it’s an Easter gift that’s hard to resist, especially if you’re a fan of luxury skincare and makeup. One of the best products in the box has to be the Medik8 Vitamin C Tetra Serum, which is probably one of my top five skincare products.
Worth £39 alone, the serum delivers a potent dose of stabilised vitamin C to brighten and even out skin tone while offering antioxidant protection. But what sets it apart from other vitamin C formulas is its texture, which is so lightweight yet luxurious which makes it a dream to use.
While five of the seven products are full-size, it’s actually one of the deluxe sizes that is worth the most when purchased individually. The Elemis Pro-Collagen Night Cream is valued at £43, and together with the Medik8 serum, they exceed the price you pay for the box by £22, making the rest of the items essentially free.
Elemis is known for its high-performance formulas, and this cream is no exception. It deeply hydrates and firms the skin overnight, leaving you with a plumper, smoother complexion by morning.
As for the makeup additions, there’s a £27, Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Mascara , which adds length and definition without clumping, as well as the ICONIC London Luscious Glow Baked Highlighter, worth £28. While it’s undeniably a great product that gives a gorgeous glow, I recently an ICONIC London highlighter in another beauty egg which means the LookFantastic highlighter is unlikely to get used, but it may be a perfect item to gift to a friend.
Products I’m excited to try from the edit are the Color Wow Money Mist, which I’ve heard amazing things about, as well as the Rodial Original Lip Oil with Collagen, which is perfect for keeping lips hydrated and glossy as the warmer weather creeps in. The only product I don’t particularly like is the Sol de Janeiro Delícia Drench Body Butter.
I previously had a full-sized version of the body product and found it too thick. I wasn’t a huge fan of the fragrance, preferring the original Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream. An additional sachet sample was stashed inside, which was a nice surprise.
Here’s what’s inside:
-
Elemis Pro-Collagen Night Cream | Deluxe Size | Worth £43.00
-
Medik8 Vitamin C Tetra Serum | Full Size | Worth £39.00
-
Color Wow Money Mist | Full Size | Worth £29.50
-
Rodial Original Lip Oil with Collagen | Full Size | Worth £29.00
-
Iconic London Lucious Glow Baked Highlighter | Full Size | Worth £28.00
-
Anastasia Beverly Hills Lash Sculpt Mascara | Full Size | Worth £27.00
-
Sol de Janeiro Delícia DrenchTM Body Butter | Deluxe Size | Worth £10
At £60, you’re essentially getting over £200 worth of products for less than a third of the price, making it a great way to stock up on some makeup and skincare products. Each one works out at £8.57 apiece, with the cheapest available to buy being £10, so you save on every single item. In my opinion, if you’re looking to treat yourself or a beauty lover this Easter, Lookfantastic’s egg is well worth cracking open.
