When it comes to perfumes, I absolutely love trying out a new one. There’s nothing like a new scent for creating new memories, and as soon as I smelled Kayali’s brand new Yum Boujee Marshmallow 81 fragrance, I knew it would become a regular in my perfume rotation.
Sweet, indulgent and genuinely so nice you could almost eat it (although, please don’t), it’s one of those perfumes that people immediately notice. I’ve had so many compliments since wearing it, and considering how many of my friends have commented on the smell, I already know it will be a winner when it comes to Christmas presents this year.

The best way to describe it is a combination of strawberry milkshake and vanilla cake, but it somehow manages to avoid being sickly or too youthful smelling. The initial notes are sugary, but it soon dries down to a more sophisticated vanilla-based scent with touches of floral notes and musk which help ground it.

I can confirm this, as those are some of my other all-time favourite perfumes and this one has rapidly joined their ranks.
It’s also incredibly long lasting – just one or two sprays should see you through the day, and I’ve noticed that I can still smell it on my jacket the next day when I’ve been wearing it. Considering you don’t need to use too much of it to get a good pay off, it means a bottle should last you a decent amount of time, making it a great investment.
You can buy the Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow in three different sizes; 100ml, 50ml and 10ml. The 100ml bottle will set you back £107, whilst the 50ml comes in at £79 and the 10ml is £28, so there’s a size to fit every budget.
You don’t need to just take my word for it, though. On the Sephora website, the Kayali Yum Boujee Marshmallow has racked up an impressive 4.6 out of 5 star rating, with people praising it for both its longevity and amazing scent.
One wrote:” Stunning fragrance, this is my new favourite Kayali scent. It layers beautifully with yum gel pistachio and vanilla 28.”
Whilst another added: “I am obsessed. On the first initial spray I really get that strong strawberry milkshake but thennnn it fades to the most beautiful sweet, sexy, vanilla marshmallow goodness. 10000/10 and lasts all day on my skin!”

However others had less success with it, saying: “I was super excited about this being that I LOVE yum pistachio and because this was super hyped up. I like the smell, however I couldn’t smell it less than 1 hour later. Very disappointed.”
Another agreed: “Beautiful scent but smells more like bubblegum than strawberries. It’s a very light fragrance when it dries down. I barely notice it after an hour or two. I wish it lasted longer and actually “intense” like it’s listed.”
